We’re only as good as our team, and they’re pretty awesome. Whenever we bring on a new team member, we like to introduce them (see all of our past team member introductions here). This month, we’d like to introduce you to one of our newest service team members, Ben Collins.
- Name, and title and “What would you say you do here?” My name is Benjamin Collins; most people call me Ben to save time. I learn new things, it’s a never-ending task.
- Hometown and how did you end up where you are? Klamath Falls, my car broke down and I had no way to get home, so I made a new one.
- How did you end up at Weston? I put in an application and was able to convince the powers that be that I was a good fit.
- Favorite part about Weston? The community of people I have the pleasure of working with every day.
- What do you do for fun in your spare time? I play a lot of games and hang out with my wife.
- What do in your spare time that nobody would guess? Play with my two cats, at least when they acknowledge I exist.
- If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? The building of The Great sphinx in Egypt.
- What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Raking up leaves.
- If you had to pick one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Neil Armstrong
- Choose a movie title for the story of your life. A little luck.
- If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why? John Candy. He is one of the best comedians of all time.
- What do you want to be when you grow up? An astronaut.
- If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? I would like to be able to fly. This way I can see how close to the sun I can get.
- What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life?
- If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not, living or dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be? Gol D. Roger
- If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why? A bird. I would get my dream of being able to fly!
- What is the worst pet you have ever had? A rock, it never wanted to play.
- How do you get your caffeine? I drink it.
- What’s the strangest talent you have? Falling asleep, I can do it really fast!
- If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring? Bear Grylls, Les Stroud, and Ray Mears. Three of the top survivalists in the world.
- Where’s Waldo? Standing next to Carmen Sandiego.
- If I opened your fridge, what would I see? Everything bagels and cream cheese.
- Here’s $20. What are you going to do with it? Go back in time and invest in Bitcoin.
- What is your favorite car? Excalibur
- A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here? “It’s hot out there, can I get some ice?”
