We’re only as good as our team, and they’re pretty awesome. Whenever we bring on a new team member, we like to introduce them (see all of our past team member introductions here). This month, we’d like to introduce you to one of our newest service team members, Jack Culhane.
- Name, and title and (to quote Office Space) “What would you say you do here?”: My name is Jack Culhane and I am a Junior Technical Support Specialist. I tie up any odds and ends around the place where need be.
- Hometown and how did you end up where you are? I was born in Anchorage and lived here my whole life. So the reason I’m here today is divine intervention if I had to guess.
- How did you end up at Weston? I woke up here.
- Favorite part about Weston? Helping people out is very rewarding for me, of course helping customers is great but I’m also enjoying being able to take whatever I can off the team’s plate since that seems to go a long way.
- What do you do for fun in your spare time? Playing videogames mostly, messing around with my computers at home, and every now and then I 3D print whatever it is I’m feeling like at that time and paint it.
- What do in your spare time that nobody would guess? I go skiing occasionally.
- If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? Maybe it wasn’t as crazy as I think it was, but I feel like being in Time Square for the year 2000 New Year’s Eve celebration had to be nuts. When will that ever happen again? 1000 years?
- What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Any of them, but they gotta be done so might as well put up with them.
- If you had to pick one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Probably Gabe Newell, President of Valve. For running one of the biggest game companies in the world It’d be interesting to know even a little bit how he does it so well compared to everyone else.
- Choose a movie title for the story of your life. I blinked once how’d we get here?
- If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why? Me, nobody could do it better.
- What do you want to be when you grow up?
- If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? Just one? Teleportation. I value my time, and commuting isn’t my favorite way to spend it.
- What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life? Make a decently viral video (not telling you which one)
- If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not, living or dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be? I guess Elon Musk, just so I can take a ton of money that he won’t notice is gone and hide it in a spot only I could find when we trade spots again.
- If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why? Sun bear. They look funny and that’s good enough for me.
- What is the worst pet you have ever had? I never had a bad pet; I love all of them equally.
- How do you get your caffeine? Besides soda, caffeine isn’t something I do a whole lot.
