We already mentioned last-month how Microsoft is getting rid of some freebie donated licenses for non-profits. Microsoft is now updating pricing on some Teams Phone and Power BI for nonprofits licenses.
Here is the new pricing (this is the per-user, per-month, month-to-month pricing that we use with our clients – discounts are available for one-year commitments but they’re not nearly as flexible and they can’t be cancelled):
- Teams Phone Standard will be $4.80 per user, per month (up from $3.84)
- Teams Phone with Calling Plan (country zone 1 – US) will be $14.79 per user, per month (up from $13.44)
- Power BI Pro will be $5.04 per user, per month (up from $3.60)
- Power BI Premium Per User will be $11.52 per user, per month (up from $9.60)
These changes are effective as of July 1, 2025, and if you’re getting these licenses from us, these changes will be reflected on your next invoice from us.
If you have PowerBI or Teams Phone via your Microsoft 365 E5 or Office 365 E5 licenses, you will not (at this time) see increases in pricing.
This pricing is still a significant discount from the standard commercial pricing and we still believe the services provided by these license are well-worth the expense. We’ve been moving more clients (including some non-profits) over to Teams Phone and we’d love to help you do the same.
