Programming note: Weston’s offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, for the New Year Holiday. Here’s hoping you have an enjoyable New Years!
As we say goodbye to 2023 and dive head first into 2024, we’d like to look back on the year with a year in review newsletter, looking back at the most popular newsletter articles of the year and some of the things we got accomplished this year. As always this time of year, New Year’s technology resolutions of the past still apply as good practice and the 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015’s year-end wrap-ups are all worth a read.
Our core purpose at Weston is to better the lives of others. That is why we are in business in the first place and we have really taken that to heart the last couple years. We truly care about the communities we live and do business in as we support lots of great non-profit organizations financially and continue to provide our time and expertise whenever we can. These organizations directly impact the well-being of those in our local communities, nation and the world and we feel it is a privilege to help and support them. We’ve been doing this for nearly 30 years now, and we’re glad you’re here with us.
In addition, we got a few things done this year we wanted to share, too:
- We turned customer comments into an epic music video (with a fax machine solo).
- We introduced you to Sam, Paul, and Ammon. (meet the rest of our team here).
- We completed our MSPVerify and CyberVerify certification and audit in late 2022, but renewed it this year.
- We’ve been able to donate time and money to lots of great non-profit organizations thanks to you! We’ve also started featuring them in our newsletter and blog, and thus far featured Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of Redmond, Convoy of Hope, and Kid’s Lab, with more to come!
- We started patching third-party applications, migrated to different web filtering, and started offering better protection for Office 365 compromises.
We hope this newsletter has been a valuable resource to you (and please email us if there is any particular type of content you’d like to see more or less of). We ran some numbers to see what people are reading in this newsletter and on our blog.
